It's quite noisey and most of this is from the CPU fan, which is just the stock cooler that came with the CPU.
A bit of research and I've selected the Akasa AK967 as a replacement, as balance between cost, noise and effect.
Here's a very good review of this cooler on freezytech (a good site all round for this stuff).
